Jenny lives in Arroyo Grande with her husband Johnny, three dogs—Gus, Loca & Lily (pugs)—and three goats—Maggie, May & Skye. Listening to her vinyl record collection, visiting estate sales for funky finds, and sipping Earl Gray tea make her happy.
Jenny Molinar has a background in memory care facility administration and a master's degree (MA) from the Davis School of Gerontology at the University of Southern California (USC). Harnessing her personal and professional experience with dementia and seeking to return to hands-on guidance, she started her business, GuidedAging, in 2017 in San Luis Obispo County.
GuidedAging offers geriatric care management services and specializes in dementia communicative guidance and long-term care navigation for seniors and their families. She seeks to connect dementia diagnosed individuals with their families by providing interpretive sessions and education.
Additionally, Jenny is a certified California Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) Administrator as well as a Professional Member (Associate Geriatric Care Manager) of the Aging Life Care Association. She serves as the Treasurer of the Long Term Care Ombudsman Services of San Luis Obispo County Board of Directors and facilitates support groups for the California Central Coast Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
