Jenny Molinar has a background in memory care facility administration and has her MA from the Davis School of Gerontology at the University of Southern California (USC). Harnessing her personal and professional experience with dementia and seeking to return to hands-on guidance, she began the San Luis Obispo County-based business, GuidedAging, in 2017.
GuidedAging offers geriatric care management services and specializes in dementia communicative guidance and long-term care navigation for seniors and their families. She seeks to bridge dementia diagnosed individuals with their families by providing interpretive sessions and education. Jenny is also a partner and speaker with the wellness training firm, Happy People Win (Jean Steel), and serves as the long-term care specialist for their clients.
Additionally, she possesses her California Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) Administrator Certificate, is a Professional Member (Associate Geriatric Care Manager) of the Aging Life Care Association, serves as the Treasurer for the Long Term Care Ombudsman Services of San Luis Obispo County Board of Directors, and facilitates support groups for the California Central Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
Jenny lives in Arroyo Grande with her husband, Johnny, and two dogs, Stella and Annie (pugs). Her vinyl record collection, shopping the clearance racks at Macy's, and Earl Gray tea make her happy.
